Mawlana Mohammad Nadir Raza al-Qadiri

Founder & Headmaster

Mohammad Nādir Razā is a doctoral researcher in Theology & Religion at Keble College, University of Oxford. 

His primary research interests lie in South Asian Islām with specific interests in the Ahl-e-Sunnat movement, the works of Imām Ahmad Razā Khān and Urdu Islamic poetry. He is the author of “Protection of Faith in the Gardens of Salvation,” a work which analyses the poetic defence of the Sunni creed by A‘lā Hazrat Imām Ahmad Razā Khān (see Madinah Publishing).

Alongside academic study, he has undertaken traditional seminary Islamic learning with teachers in the north of England and has served as an Imam at mosques in London and North-West of England. 

He was born in 1994 in London where he completed his primary and secondary education in West London and then also at the prestigious boarding school, Charterhouse. He then began studying for his undergraduate and Masters degrees at the Universities of Manchester and Birmingham, respectively, alongside which he studied for the Dars-e-Nizami course.
